Alyssa and Matt are the sweetest! I use to work with Alyssa, so this was such an honor for me to take her engagement photos! Matt and Alyssa grew up in the same town and fell in love! Matt and Alyssa have been dating for eight years and on the day before her Christmas Eve birthday Matt asked her to marry him. He cooked her a beautiful steak dinner and surprised her with the proposal afterwards at their house. Alyssa says, “I love that Matt feels likes home to me. He is my comfort. When he is near I feel grounded and supported.” And this is how Matt describes Alyssa, “I love Alyssa because she is always there for me. Alyssa is the most helpful person I know. Her desire to always care for and nurture me is incredible. She always tries to be the best partner and person she can be. I am lucky to have her and I can’t wait to be her husband.” Aren’t they the sweetest?! They are planning an intimate wedding up in Maine for next year- it sounds like it is going to be beautiful! We took these photos at a park that they take walks at with their dog, Bailey, all the time! It is so beautiful and I’m glad I got to come along on their walk this time! I really enjoyed spending time with them they are both so easy to be with!
